About Me

I graduated with a PhD in statistics from Stanford University in June 2017. My advisor was Prof. Jonathan Taylor. I also collaborated with Prof. Rob Tibshirani and researchers at the Stanford Blood Center. I received a B.S. in mathematics from Fudan University.

Research

My research interests include:

  • Inference after data snooping with applications to estimating effect sizes in genetics

  • Heritability of polygenic traits

  • Inference in non-parametric models with heavy tailed noises

  • Degrees of freedom for estimation procedures

  • Prediction modeling for medical data

I am grateful for the generous support of donors through a Gabilan Stanford Graduate Fellowship.
